The collection of the Scientific and Historical Archive of St. Petersburg Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences contains several dozen autographs of the first Russian emperor. The collection “Documents of Peter I” (Coll. 277) contains Peter’s decrees, letters, notes and drawings. Eight autographs of Peter I are exhibited at the virtual exhibition. The selected materials represent different types of Peter’s manuscripts.
