Department of American studies of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the A.A. Fursenko Center for American Studies of Saint Petersburg Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences on September 22, 2022, holds a scientific colloquium “Yu.V. Knorozov and his contribution to modern American studies”. The colloquium is part of the program of scientific and anniversary events timed to the centennary of the birth of the outstanding Russian ethnographer Yuri Valentinovich Knorozov (1922–1999).
